In the lower altitude areas, the summer season is hot and humid, while the winter is mild. Spring and autumn are considered the best seasons for trekking and mountaineering in Nepal, with moderate temperatures and clear skies. The temperature pattern in Nepal varies depending on the altitude and season. In the lowland regions of Nepal, the average temperature during the summer (June-August) is between 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), and during the winter (December-February), the average temperature is between 7°C to 20°C (45°F to 68°F). In the midland regions of Nepal, the temperature during the summer is usually cooler, ranging from 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), while the winter temperature drops to between 0°C to 12°C (32°F to 54°F). In the high-altitude regions of Nepal, the temperature is generally colder, with an average temperature of around 0°C (32°F) or lower during the winter months. In the spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) seasons, the weather is generally pleasant with mild temperatures and clear skies, making it the best time for trekking and outdoor activities.
